Hole #16 — “Astounding Beauty” PAR 5 | 573-340 YARDS
The strongest par 5 on the course is also the most astounding and beautiful. The largest waste bunker at Astor Creek runs down the entire length of the left side of the hole. The lake does creep into the right side of the second landing area, but it does not impact the tee shot. Two small pot bunkers define the line off the tee. Landing safely within the second landing area is a challenge, given the three randomly placed fairway bunkers. Playing near the lake and over the bunkers on the right side of the hole creates the best angle into the large sweeping green.
